Good old ancient goodness nutrious food

Now that Will is back to eating regularly good diet I cook only one type of meal for each meal time.  It is so exciting that we all eat out of the same dishes again, that's how a family is supposed to be according to my father's philosophy.  So, the other day, I made this Dark brown Lentil stew for lunch.  I boiled the lentils in cold water with fresh chopped onion, garlic, and garam malsala. When it was cooked I added chopped fresh roma tomatoes, cilantro, juice of 1 lemon, salt and black pepper.  It was so very good and nutritious.  This is a dish my people have been eating for protein from ancient times.  It is so very very very good from all perspectives.  Why do I write this? Well, I am so excited that my husband is not afraid to eat any food group any more.  I thank God for the doctors who told him that he needs to eat a balanced diet each meal.  Will ate this with 2 pieces of toasted sour dough bread!!!
