Elizabeth, my grand child

'Heart stealer' is her other name. Of course she stole Will's and my heart over and over and over. Elizabeth is now 21 months old, talking, eating, laughing and giggling. Her favorite activity seems to be running. She runs pretty fast and loved having me run after her. Lucky me, she loves me, she likes me and she likes to play with me. There is no other feeling like a grand child running past her grandfather and all the way to me. My heart almost jumped out of me. All the while running to me Elizabeth was saying, Grama Mimi and giggling and waving her arms as though they were her wings and she actually was flying. What a sight not to mention the sound!!! Can any morning get better than that? I don't know..... In the whole group of family gathered for mother's 90th birthday party 27 people or so, Elizabeth always found me and ran to me. I love being a grandmother. I loved carrying Elizabeth, pretend flying her, singing ABCD song with her over and over, running after her (boy, I would get in shape if she was closer, perhaps I should move to Syracuse without Grandpa who must live in Houston), playing music for her... the list goes on. There is nothing I don't love about this grandchild. She certainly has melted my heart. As the celebration ended, Elizabeth and I went out to bid good bye to each family unit that left before us. I would say, Elizabeth "Say 'bye bye'" and she did so softly as she waved her cute little hand. Life is Good! Thank God for that.
