A time to discern again

It is a time for a new day. I had been resting and playing for now 4 months and a few days, loving every moment of it. There is a season for every thing according to the Bible. It is "a time to discern my new call". I thank God for such a busy long life (till Sept. 2009) to serve the Church, I thank God for the long rest and play time. Now I thank God for the energy and spirit to discern my new call. My PIF have been sent out to 3 churches so far. I continue to study to read CIF-s on line and will keep sending my PIF out. My prayer is back to, "Lord, here I am. Send me anywhere you need me to be". I thank God for Will who is willing to pray the same prayer with me. We have been praying, "Lord, here I am. Send me somewhere in Houston, TX". Well, it turned out that we don't get to tell God where to send me. A time for R & R was good. I got to rest and restore my self. I also got to be reminded of what a dependent I am of God not the other way around. I am fully recharged, ready to go anywhere God sends me. God is good, all the time. So is life as a child of God.
