Will and I went to First Presbyterian Church in Galveston to worship this morning. It was communion Sunday. We really like David Green's sermons. The congregation was friendly and welcoming.
After Church we ate Wendy's lunch and had a good long walk on the beach. As I looked at the big waves, the sea shell, the rocks, the children and their adult supervisors swimming in the water, the surfers, the birds of all sizes and kinds I am reminded of how marvelous God is. I jumped around like a silly kid as the water reached my feet/legs and wet my dress I felt great knowing that I am a child of God.
Now many hours later I sit in my family room with remembering of these words Rev. David Green said to each of us as he served us the communion grape juice: Ps. 34:8, "O taste and see that the Lord is Good..."
In deed the Lord is good! all the time.
