Last weekend July 17& 18 we went to San Antonio Texas to explore more about our surroundings. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. It turned out to be a very old city with lots of history to learn, a beautiful river walk with many fun places all along the river.
We drove only less than 4 hours from home and it felt like we were tourists in so far far away land. It was hot and sticky but we still had a great time. Will was goofy and Joshua was happy. Needless to say I was simply delighted in all the experience. We road that little boat around the river to enjoy the views and the lecture give by the driver of the boat. We ate great food (most of the time) and some not so tasty Italian. All in all it was great and worth repeating.
All of us felt restful and renewed. It was a nice surprise to us all. Life is good! I thank God for giving this good life to me.
