Today on the 5th sunday after his surgery Will preached. The surgeon told him that he will not be able to preach for at least 6 Sundays. He insisted that he can preach with me as his back up. I told him that he can preach without me as a back up. Yay! God is good all the time, Will preached the whole sermon. One of the elders and the organist had brought the condutor's chair/ hi chair down for him to sit on while preaching. I was so impressed by the care he received from his people. They were happy to see him and he was happy to see them. His voice gave out shortly after the service. How perfectly God's timing was. I am so thankful to God that He used will to interprete His words to the south Frankfort Presbyerians.
We had a speaker/reporter of the orphanage the Chruch supports after worship over lunch. That was really good. A group of the chruch members will be going to Guatamala to visit the orphanage. After all of the programs at the chruch we went to the home of Tony and Linn for a visit. We sat on their front porch of a craftsman style bangalow house with iced tea talking, laughing and drining the iced tea. We came home to Run's famous beef curry. Will ate baked potato and steamed Brocoli. What a great day all in all. All went well today and I am thankful for the day. Now it is closer to the end of this day. It is 11:26 P.M. and I say Thank you God for this day that you have made. As I woke up and posted on my face book this morning, " This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24". I am glad in it, in deed.
