Life is a journey which we begin at birth. Each of us begin our journey in a particular place and time but we all travel on the road called life which is a gift from God. On this journey each day we learn something/s hopefully including some wisdom which brings us happiness, joy and peace.

May 22
A full day. Quiet time with God reading Psalm 98 and prayers in the morning. I
tended to my little garden. What joy! My tomatoes begining to ripen. Habenera
peppers are mostly ripen. Dragon Caynne peppers are begining to ripen also. And
most of the Dragon's Toe pepers are ripen. Long pool time with Will and devotion
in the pool. We had a long and good conversation too. We talked about whether or
not to refinnace our home. A little about theology. About visiting Paris this
summer. A little about family and mostly aobut our lives as husgand and wife. I
loved that. At midday we went to eat lunch at " The big Chinese buffet on
Fruitville". I went to the Liquer store near by to ask if they had "Blanton's
Bourbon", of course they did not. The man in there gave me some education on
why. Buffalo Trace Distilery had been sold to those who do not continue making
my favorite Bourbon, "Blanton's." So sad but I treasure "life giving"
conversation with a stranger like this man. He is so passionate and
knowledgeable about his vocation. I thank God for such a wonderful exchange. So,
then on we went to a furniture store called "Nattusi." Met a young man who
turned out to be the manager "Daniel" born in Jamaica but brought to Orlando by
his parents at age 4. Nice, polite, kind again knowledgeable of his vocation
Catholic man. So happy. At the end of the conversation I invited him to our home
for dinner. He said he will come. We may buy a sofa from him. We went to the
mall and walked. We bought some shirts for Will. It was a good thing. We made 2
more stops at furniture stores, and at a Wallgreens on the way home. We had been
so very active today. Home. Leftover for supper. Nap on sofa. Bed. Thank God for
a full good day.
