Life's surprises

On Sunday, there was a "Benefit Concert" at my church. Dr. Benjamin Sung a concert violinist/university professor and his wife Dr. Jihye Chang a concert pianist perform to raise fund for building a church in Santa Anita, Peru. I have never been to a concert like that before. I am so ignorant in classical music but I was so touched by it all the way to my soul. I sat at the very last pew as it was my job to jump out of the sanctuary as needed. There they were playing a way as though they were playing in their own home making marvelous sound from those instruments. I was thinking Psalm 99:1-3 "The Lord is King; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples. Let them praise your great and awesome name' Holy is he! Psalm 100 "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Ben and Jihye were making a joyful noise to the Lord excellently. What a privilledge to be hearing it. God is good. He give such a treat to even those who don't know the extend of the quality of the music like my self. Bless the Lord.
