Life is a journey which we begin at birth. Each of us begin our journey in a particular place and time but we all travel on the road called life which is a gift from God. On this journey each day we learn something/s hopefully including some wisdom which brings us happiness, joy and peace.

First time! A new mark on the journey!!!
Yup, this morning Joshua decided to learn how to broil Salmon for the first time on his own. As instructed by me, he cleaned the fillet, seasoned it with cracked pepper, lemon juice and melted butter. He broiled it. He also learned to clean jumbo shrimp from shelling to de-veining. LT did the cooking of it. We had a great lunch at home. How lovely when children want to learn to play chef in the kitchen. We also ate the traditional eggplant dish and two boiled veges Lt made. Oh, Joshua also cooked the rice. My father's soul would be proud that his oldest grandson had made the main dish of the meal. This mark a new step on the journey of our family.
Children do grow slowly and naturally - only if we have the patience we would enjoy their growing up days even more.
Now, after a short nap, I hear Joshua practicing piano. Oh, I better go back to practice preaching, getting ready for the evening. 2 Samuel 11:1-15 is the passage. The title is "Lead Us Not Into temptation" David and Bathsheba story. Not a fun topic.
