Will's Birthday, an old stomping ground, old friends and new babies

Will's Birth Day was June 24th. He was surprised by no party on that day. Just Joshua and I who took him to his favorite Steak House in Clear Lake. What he did not know was that Lynn was planning a real surprise "B....e.... lated Birth Day Party" for him at the Martini's Italian Restaurant, his favorite in Louisville. We had the party on Friday night with friends. He was not surprised, but SHOCKED! I was very pleased that we pulled it off. It was great to see friends and celebrate the 60 year mark of Will's life. Laughter, food, drink, conversations, hugs, kisses and more of those the whole time. As they say, we picked up where we left off. It was marvelous to meet the two little men Landon and Riley Jonson grand babies of Frank and Susan. They are now 8 months old. They liked me, of course they liked me. I am a baby magnet still. Oh, they are so very cute and chunky especially Landon. I got to play with them a bit. What a privillage to be with them. I visited the Harvey Browne Church office to see the ladies, the office and the custodians. They were as gracious as always. The newly renovated sanctuary was really beautiful. It felt really good to go back and see it now finished. I feel proud to have been a part of that work. One thing I did not get to do - eating frickled pickles. There is always next time!
