Life Goes On

Life does go on whether or not we are aware of it. Tomorrow will be here and so will Joshua for the rest of the summer. I can not wait. Life will be even more livelier and there will be a lot more fun each day. He said that he will teach me how to play tennis, and I will teach him Mizo and Myanmar. I had tried teaching these languages to this child in the previous summers but did not work because he was not willing to learn. Now he did the asking of me to teach him. Good luck to both of us!!! This reminds me of my self as a high school student. One day in 9th grade I asked father to teach me how to speak English. My poor father did try again and again. I was not a good student. He had to give it up to continue being my father. He spent so much money buying resources in "Spoken English". Finally he got smart and bought me a box that has a tapes and books that go with the tapes. I remember repeating after a British lady's voice saying, "How do you do?" Well, Joshua is about to be 16 and just finished 9th grade asking me to teach him not one language but 2 languages this summer. Does God has a sense of humour in this subject too? Does what goes around really comes around?" I hope NOT for my sake. But we shall have to see. For now i am excited beyond words that my "little man" is coming home for the whole summer. God is good, all the time. Thanks be to that very God.
