South Frankfort Presbyterian Church, Frankfort, Kentucky

Since the beginning of November Will has been the interim pastor of South Frankfort Presbyterian Church (SFPC), so we are very active at SFPC. I have been enjoying my new role as the pastor's wife.  The people are very kind and friendly but not overly friendly, just the way I like it.  In the past I am the pastor and Will called himself 'the pastor's wife' and baked cookies and cakes, taught Sunday School and helped clean up after events.  I enjoy supporting Will for the first time in this role.  I enjoy hearing his sermons every Sunday and I love to get to know a whole new bunch of people there.  I had suggested to have Epiphany Dinner for the whole congregation and I had fun cooking the meat in their commercial kitchen while members of the Church were cooking green beans, macaroni and cheese, roasted potatoes etc.  It was mighty fun.  Over a hundred people came out to eat and have a great time.  I have been coordinating Sunday lunches for the congregation with a deacon in this month of February.  This too is fun.  I started knitting group with a member of the Church two weeks ago.  We ladies gather to knit and talk and laugh.  I am learning new things, new people and new surrounding.  I fell in love with this gorgeous town in the fall when it was colorful with old trees.  I can not wait to meet the spring here in Frankfort.  Live is good and God is great!
