Life is like a journey with many stops.
And, also, life is like a book with chapters. This time our book of life is in a new chapter. Will is recovering from this quadruple bypass, and life will never be the same for him again. He is eating healthy and will begin his rehab which will lead to a life of regular exercise. He will look better and be in good shape. The temple of God he happens to live in will be much better taken care of. So, what about me? I will begin my new healthier way of living soon, very soon. By God's grace I am healthy so far but that doesn't mean I don't need to take better care of my self now - for instance by losing some weight. After all this too is a temple of God that I am entrusted to take good care of. One of my new friends, Marlene, suggested for me to go to the gym for exercise. I may not quite do that, but that is good advice. I will start doing something new in that area of life. This brings to my mind a part of what the apostle Paul said to the Corinthians,
I Corinthians 6:10
Do you not know that your body is a temple* of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
