Advent 3: Wendesday

I painted water color with Sunny, a brand new member of the Church.  It was really good.  We chatted along in a very quiet and camly way.

And then I went to visit the same old saint I mentioned in yesterday's entry.  He is under hospice care now.  I held his hand kneeling on my knees and prayed for him.  I read the 23rd Psalm to him quietly and I talked to him.  He made a noise to acknowledge my speaking to him.  I was so ever blessed to be with him.  Later I conversed with his daughter on the phone.  She is a kind lady and I get to tell her that her father is happy to hear her voice.  That was/is what he really wants most.

I went to the knitting group at the Church and had a good conversation with them.  I had a shepherding related meeting which was great.  Had dinner with a whole host of church members in the campus ctr., the last Wednesday meal Nancy Brown porvided before retirement.  Delicious!

Went to the senior pastor's Advent lecture.  Wonderful!

Home now by a little over 8:00 P.M. ready for a movie with Ziri and Will.  Life is good.  God is GREAT.
