Joshua is here finally: Friday, Saturday Sunday and Monday...

So, we stayed up late on Thursday till Friday morning 2 A.M or so.  Much fun.  I miss this child so very much.  He slept 'til 11:00 A.M.  It was a rainy day.  So, not much to do out there.  We hung around at home 'til 2:30 P.M. when Joshua had to go practice violin with Dephane at the Church.  We went in the rain- cats and dogs.  It was fun.

We went to the hospice house to visit Virginia, just like old times.  Home, I cooked more stuff Joshua loves to eat.  We ate.

At night we watched shows/movie into the wee hours,  like always.

Saturday:

Same deal.  Joshua slept in until 10:00 A.M.  He is tired.  Poor kid, just finished finals and work.  I am so proud of him that he is done with the freshman year!!!  Another monsoon day in Sarasota.  We went to the church for his violin practice with Dephane and Genevieve.

Then we went to the hospice house for me to visit a church member.  Will and Joshua dropped me off at the hospital to visit people and went on to shop for a suit for Joshua.  They found a real nice one and two shirts too.  Very nice.  Every time we see this kid a shopping trip is a must.  He is all set for his helping lead worship in music tomorrow! :) This makes my heart feel very happy.  And then we drove around town. Much talk and giggles and laughter as always.  I cooked and we ate at home.  I practiced my sermon as the two watched TV.  Life is really good.  I thank God for all of this.

Sunday

Up very early all three of us.  Will dropped us off at my Church at 7:49 A.M. and went on to his own Church in Arcadia.  It was such a great feeling that Joshua is playing violin in worship to praise God. We did this many times as he was growing up in Louisville, KY and I was an associate pastor at HB Memorial Presbyterian Church.  There is no better joy than serving God with my own kid.  I preached.

At 1:15 P.M. Will came back to get us. We went to have lunch at the Marina Jack's in Joshua's honor.  Delicious!  Too bad not many pictures.  Too hot to be outside and the sun is in the wrong side for pictures from the inside of the restaurant.

We came home for a nap- just as we always did in the past.  And then we went to the Siesta Key Beach and to Thai to eat dinner.

Monday :(

Early in the morning we had to take Joshua back to the airport.  I will see him again sooner then the last time (11 months).

I give thanks to God for this child Joshua Zirthang Puia.  We love him and entrust him to God.
