More talk with family back at home. Thank God for video chat. Some of our famiies are more sick than the others. I got to be the big sister to my sibblings from far, far away. God is good to our family and I give thanks to God. Even in the midst of this Pandemic I reminded my sibblings to give thanks to God. Whatelse are we to do as faithful christians? God is faithful and we rely on His love and faithfulness.
LT, Will and I went out in the afternoon to our old neighborhood. We stopped at Trader Joe's for grocery. On our way home LT's car, Will was driving, was hit by a Semi on the driver's side. The truck driver may have been asleep. He crossed the lane and hit us. The car was mangled pretty badly but we are alright. My left foot was spared by a few inches. So, we give thanks to God that we are alright. The truck driver was alright too. So much - not so good stuff happened to our family today. Yet, God's mercy and grace were more evident.
My brother Koko, his wife and 3 children are Covid positive. My brother in law is too. The children are getting better now. So is my brother and brother in law. Our cousin in another city had been down with Covid but he was tested negetive today. Prayers we said on the video chats, and still talks, jokes and laughters we still share across the ocean. I am so thankful to God to day for giving us the parents He gave us. We learn from them when life gets out of control we laugh instead of crying or being angry. Of course death is another thing all by itself.
We still cooked and had a good dinner together, Lt, her boyfriend, Will and I had a good evening.
At the end of the day God's mercy, love and grace are all we can see and feel. Thanks be to God for this life.
