My sister Nutei was hit by a bus in Bangkok, Thailand while on vacation there. It was May 27th, 2014 to be exact about the date of the accident. So, my husband Will, my sister LT and I went to Bangkok to be with Nutei. My brother Koko also came from Yangon, Myanmar. Nephew Joshua and brother-in-law Run came as quickly as they could.
Nutei was hurt really badly and was in ICU for 2 weeks. The 5th day after she was out of ICU, we took her home to Yangon, Myanmar, which is our original home. We were able to stay in Yangon for only 6 days. It was the first time my entire family had been together since December of 1987! As it is the nature of my family we had a good time and we gave thanks to God for the chance to be together. There is always something good in everything, just like my father used to teach us. The trip is reported in pictures below. Nutei is much better now walking again slowly in the house and her right hand is half way back to normal. Her left hand needs much more prayer and healing. God is good and we are grateful for all those who pray for Nutei and we ask for more prayers. Now that Nutei is better I can post this. Pictures of her in the days she was in ICU are not posted.
Lamentations 3:
22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul,
‘therefore I will hope in him.’
