Summer is at the end because it is September now- well, theoretically here in Sarasota, Florida. Last Sunday we had a "fall kick off" at the church and all went fantastically well. We being thinking of life in the perspective of a new program year. Very exciting indeed!
Tomorrow evening Will and I will take off for our continuing edcation week to Ireland to take classes in "Celtic Spirituality". I don't know anything about it. So, learning a new thing is in order and that will keep me refreshed, humble, curious and grateful.
More report will follow from Ireland. I believe. For now I must pay attention to visiting the sick in the hospital and at the Hospice house and writting liturgy for communion worship tomorrow morning.
So, here I go singing this in my heart as a mantra for the rest of this day:
"Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness,
morning by morning new mercies I see,
all I have needed thy hand had provided
great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me."
