Wednesday May 26th

A wonderful day started with quiet time with God, prayers and meditation. I reasd a few Psalms and made this my mantra for the day. Psalm 149 1 Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the faithful. 2 Let Israel be glad in its Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. 3 Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre. 4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory. 5 Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their couches. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, 7 to execute vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, 8 to bind their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron, 9 to execute on them the judgement decreed. This is glory for all his faithful ones. Praise the Lord! Will decided to work at home. So, he was in the library. I enjoyed reading The Enneagram A Christian Perspective by Richard Rohr and Andreas Ebert. I think I am beginning to really like the way Richard Rohr writes. So fun to learn more about myself- Type 1 and to learnmore about Will who is clear type 3. We bought a new area rug for the family room. The shop owener turned out to be a Pakistani and we are so pleased to meet one another. I love the rug. Brilliant red and blue and other gook colours. My choice this time. We moved the smaller Kashmiri silk area rug into the dinning room. Happiness all the way around. I tended my little garden. So wonderful to see how tomatoes ripen and be reminded of how God make things grow. Pool time and I power washed our lanai floor. The roof and all the way arund the house/outside got professionally washed as well. Will vaccumed inside the house. We are pretty clean today the house and the human beings! God is good and I am thankful.
