I slept in till 8:00 AM. Very strange indeed! But very restful. I was so pleased to be woken up by nice voices of my family talking and chattering happily. I loved it. Breakfast was forgotten, I mean I did not remember to eat breakfast. I had Emmy and Lilly pick the last of my summer pulum tomatoes. I cut out all the branches or vines and throw them away. And then I jumped into the pool where Emmy was already swimming. I spent an hour with her there. So delightful it was. We talked some but mostly she swam and I moved about as I don't know how to really swim. It is so fun to be with my introverted family. Lunch was simple. Tea time was wonderful. Will and I went grocery shopping and dinner was grilled shrimp by Francis and Will. Salad and pasta tossed with cheese for the children and tossed with garlic infused olive oil for the adult. We finished grandpa Will's birthday cake at tea. So, no dessert. After dinner my grand daughters worked on illustration/drawing and painting of my Children's sermon. I got to read them several Children's sermons. So, wonderful an evening. I love having my family here.
