The last day the kids are here. A litte sad for me as I had not seen them in 2 years and it has been only 11 days with them. Oh, well... we'll try to visit them before end of this calendar year. "Make the best of today" I told myself. With that note, I went away for a few minutes with Will hopping Francis will get in the pool with the girls. He did. When we got home we got in the pool too. Cat was our life guard as everyay. Her foot doctor will not let her in the pool. We took our family pictures at the front of the house as we always do. They turned out beautifully. We had lunch, tea time, dinner and a game of chess for Emmy and myself. Wonderful conversation about life and practical stuff with Francis after all went to bed. We talked till past midnight. Poor guy, will have to drive 2 days home. Well... we milked his presence and wisdom and advice to the very last minute. He is a good son to Will and a wonderful friend to me. God is great. Life is good. I am grateful.
