Friday August 13, 2021

Quiet time with God in the morning. Thinking of and remembering my friend and co-servant the Rev.Dr. Alan Rodda who now lives life eternal, I made Psalm 8 my mantra for today. I communicated with family far away in Myanmar. They are continuing to do well. Thanks be to God!
I made a big pot of Chili for Ziri. Packed them and put them in the freezer. I made a big pot of chicken and sausage gumbo and freeze them in small containers. What fun I had! Ziri works from home and Will continues to work on his sermon while I cooked. We all went to H Mart for lunch. Ziri went back to home to keep working while we sat and talked.

We had tea at home. Then in late afternoon we went to Michigan Avenue for a bit of shopping. Then on to the signature room to watch the beautiful sunset and a drink. I boutht my first desinger sunglasses ever. A valentino with the "Jack Reynold" money. So much fun!

Then we came home to eat delivered delicious Indian meal. We had bubbly to drink with it and then Ziri and watched Grace and Franky. Will went to bed.

The day has been great to play with our lovely Ziri. God is good and I am grateful.
