Life is a journey which we begin at birth. Each of us begin our journey in a particular place and time but we all travel on the road called life which is a gift from God. On this journey each day we learn something/s hopefully including some wisdom which brings us happiness, joy and peace.

Friends continues
Oh, yes, it is Sunday afternoon again. Today there was no Lynn or Adrian at the Church. WE miss them. Even some of the good old Clear-Lakers asked "where are your friends?" Last week end was different and fun. On Saturday we went down to Galveston for lunch and a drive about (too wet and rainy for a walk about) and on to Church for worship and home for basketball games - Louisville was playing Syracuse. U of L won, of course. Bright and early we were back at the Church. The Coles were great attending both services and meet lots of people. After church we went out and then I cooked supper at home. All the giggles and laughter and conversations were so much fun and healing to my soul. I did not realize how much I needed visits from old friends. I had not have time to mourn for my mother's death. Visits from friends and family are healing to the grieving and bruised up souls. Even if we don't talk about death, their presence makes you fee secure and comforted. Friends are in deed the best gift from God.
