Life is a journey which we begin at birth. Each of us begin our journey in a particular place and time but we all travel on the road called life which is a gift from God. On this journey each day we learn something/s hopefully including some wisdom which brings us happiness, joy and peace.

A journey marked by date of ordination
14 years ago today, I was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)in Newark, Delaware.
On that day:
Joyce Tucker Preached. She was the first to ever ask me if I had thought of ordination.
Ernie Olsen Charged me. He was the chair of CPM whose voice was used by God to begin my process of ordination.
Mizo choir from all over Maryland. They sung my favorite hymn.
Roger Davis came to it from Overbrook, Columbus, OH. Roger was the chair of PNC from the church I was called to serve.
Lucinda Brown, my friend and Elizabeth Vadergrift, my room mate. They took parts in the service.
Surles hosted me in their home in Willmington, DE. Kathy was on the search committee that called me to her church as a DCE.
Silver tea reception was served in the Church fellowship hall following the service.
Terry King my friend and big brother took me to "Stake and Ale" for a family dinner in the evening.
Today I sit in my family room grateful with tears of joy.
