Life is a journey which we begin at birth. Each of us begin our journey in a particular place and time but we all travel on the road called life which is a gift from God. On this journey each day we learn something/s hopefully including some wisdom which brings us happiness, joy and peace.

The last Day of 2009
It is today. I wake up this morning automatically doing what my father taught me to do so very long long time ago, which is reflecting the whole year.
My first thought was that Kanu (mother) shared this year only the first 3 days with us on this earth.
Then my friend Terry died the same month in January.
And yesterday George emailed me to say that Irene had died.
So, I lost several very significant people this year to God.
Am I sad? yes.
Am I very sorry for my self? Yes again.
Am I thankful for each of them and what impact they each had in my life? Yes of course.
There are also many happy events and experiences I received during this year.
We went home to Myanmar for a long holiday (3 weeks).
We had Joshua during spring break, all summer and now at Christmas.
We saw Run and LT twice.
We saw Elizabeth and her parents 3 times.
We celebrated Will's mother's 90th birthday.
We had friends visited us in Seabrook.
We are blessed with extended families in Christ.
I have been blessed with 4 months of time to rest and play.
Got to officiate Lily's wedding.
We made new friends.
We learned to live a simpler life.
The list of blessing can go on for a long long long sheet.
I sit in my favorite spot in the house and give thanks to God for his presences with us in our lives every day through out this year. At the same time I give thanks to God for the new year he is about to take us into. I give the coming year and all that it holds to God. I gave my self to God so that I may live to enjoy his presence in all that I do, see, say, and hear in the coming year.
Now that part is done, I am enjoying the rest of the day/year as I wait for the new one to arrive. And oh, yes, I am getting ready for our "New Year Eve/New Year Party". Very excited I am, if I might add.
