Life is a journey which we begin at birth. Each of us begin our journey in a particular place and time but we all travel on the road called life which is a gift from God. On this journey each day we learn something/s hopefully including some wisdom which brings us happiness, joy and peace.

Last Sunday
It was Dec. 6th. It is also know as the second Sunday of Advent in which we lit the second purple candle called the candle of Peace. As we lit this candle we remember that we are waiting for the coming of Jesus our Prince of Peace. I explained all of this to my granddaughter Elizabeth in the sanctuary before worship begun. She looked puzzled so, I did the explaining all over again. She was more interested in the Christmas tree that had no ornaments on it. Later I found out that the pastor wanted the children to put ornaments on as a part of the children's sermon. How wise I thought. Later in the afternoon when we got home Elizabeth went to the Christmas tree and hung her own ornaments that has fallen down on the floor. I was amazed by what a 23 months old can understand and retain.
We thank God for sending his very own son to make peace between Him and us the sinful human beings.
