Today

It began with us waking up to snow on the trees and on the ground and on the cars and on the roof and everywhere. God had given me my wish - a white Birthday. The whole world was beautiful, the sky was white and bright. Cat open the curtains of the windows so I can see out. What a kind daughter-in-law I have. She also said to me, "Happy Birthday". Grandbaby came down shortly after and her mother said to her, "Lilly it is Grandma Hmingi's birthday". Then I heard a little happy voice, "Happy Birthday Nana Mimi". What a lovely sound, so grandpa Will and Francis followed suit. Will and Cat baked a double layered Devil's Food dark chocolate cake in the morning. Their little helper was Lilly, the 23 months old grandbaby. Will and I took Lilly to the big mall so we could play with her. She rode on the horse at the Carousel with grandpa while I took their picture, we ran around, ate lunch rode the horses some more. Then a long drive while both Lilly and I slept and on home. Cat made my favorite beef diner, Francis served my favorite red wine, Will returned thanks to God for my life, the baby helped me blow out 49 candles. I had a marvelous birthday. Joshua and many others called in on the phone, singing to me or wishing me happiness and many other things. It was a marvelous day. It's now all ending and I sit here grateful for my life to God who made me 49 years ago today.
