Will's birthday this year...

June 24th was Will's birthday.  In the morning we give thanks to God for Will and his life and all the blessings that he has been during our devotion. Steve and Kendra brought Will his favorite food group- sweet cookies that they have made in their kitchen.  In deed they were delicious! We had morning tea with those cookies with them as we would back at home.  As good friends they came in sat down and had morning tea with us.  I thank God for their visit.

Each year, well, for the last few years Joshua would bake a Carrot Cake as it is Will's favorite cake.  This year is no different.  The boy baked a Carrot Cake and we took it to our new dear friends house who have invited us to come to their home for Will's birthday dinner that day. Don had smoked beef brisket and Barb made baked potatoes.  Oh, yes, Don also made his own BBQ sauce.  All very delicious a dinner and storying telling, joking and laughing as a good birthday is supposed to be.

This is one of those times when I agree with the statement, "Pictures speaks volumes"   I thank God for good friends Proverbs 17:17¹⁷ A friend loves at all times.
