Joshua is 18

On July 7th Joshua turned 18 years of age.  It was really fun to watch this child trun into a young man.  As it is my family's tradition we laid our hand on Joshua's head and gave thanks to God all His blessings upone this child, and also asked God to continue to bless him, lead him and teach him in the days to come.

Will baked him a cake and Run took us all out to the Macaroni Grill for dinner.  It was a great day.  My heart was warmed over when I did what my fahter (Joshua's grandfather) would have have done, giving a real short speech- "By God's Grace, Joshua I declare to you that you are no longer a child but a young adult." That honor  was really good for my heart.  And then came even more joy - we get to start treating him like a young man.  Joshua likes it a lot.  It is working very well all the way around.  God is Great in deed!!! for which I give thanks. Psalm 127: 3 says, "3 Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward."
