Women Helping Women Dinner

There was an event called "Women Helping Women" luncheon and auction back in May.  I donated a Myanmar dinner for 6 to the silent auction.  Valerie Perkins won the dinner for a rather hi prize, meaning she helped a few women who otherwise could not afford the counselling they needed.  I thank God for Velarie and her kind heart and her generousity with $$$.  I got to cook it last night.  What fun! I always love to cook for other people and cooking for the 6 gorgeous ladies was even more fun.

We ate, talked, laughed and get to know one another.  Well, they already knew one another, I got to know them much better.  What a previlledge to be a part of such great events, once at the auction and last night.

I give thanks to God for friends like Valerie Perkins.
