Vacation Day 1 & 2: October 201

It began yesterday for a week.  People asked me where I was going on vacation.  Nowhere I said to each one.  Everyone seemed surprised by my answer but I could not figure out why.
Yesterday was day one on vacation.  I went to water colour painting for 2.5 hours with good friends. I visited an ART Galary and ate Dim sum.  When was the last time I took 2 hours to eat lunch with a good friend? More than a year ago, at least. In the late afternoon I chatted with friends while they knit their shawls. In the evening I roamed the mall in slow motion buying only one shirt.  At night I came home to Will and we watched some old movie. That was a great relaxing day

Day 2.  Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota, Fl.
Today.  Dearest friends Lynn and Adrian came over and we talked and lunched at the Olive Garden (their treat!), went to the prettiest beach of the USA - Siesta Key beach.  Lynn and I splashed about for an hour or so while Will took a nap on the beach and Adrian walked.  Back to the house. Lynn and I swam for half an hour in our pool. Off they went back to aunt Janet at 4:00 P.M. Now Will and I will roam Amish Furniture Stores in Sarasota.  Much fun. I will post today's pictures later.
