Yesterday and the begining of today

It was a wonderful day.  We had staff meetings as usual.  They were just as good as usual. John and I had our usual premium wrap from McDonald's for lunch.  We ate and talked.  I will miss him sooooooo much when he retires.

After Staff meetings I saw Marlene.  She is back to Sarasota to live here full time now.  She came to the office to say hello on her way to a meeting.  How wonderful is that?  One of my new best friends in Sarasota is back from Boston.  I love it.  She made my day.

I saw Fee who too stopped in for a short time.  They both give me a hug.  And then it was time to go meet with Cherrie and Jan about Shepherding Deacons.  We had so much fun working together.  we ate, we drank iced tea, we worked on the task and we talked, we laughed... it was so much fun.

And then the board of deacons' monthly meeting at 7 P.M.  That too was wonderful.  The whole day was filled with variety of productive stuff.  I loved it.  I give thanks to God for such a colorful day.

Now time to get ready for today.  My prayer for today is:

Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart

be acceptable to you,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
