A good long day started with quiet time with God followed by devotional with Will. He went off to Arcadia to work. Mr. Xie and Nick came to work in the kitchen. Mr. Xie did most of the work alone. All the outlets are now new. He installed the microwave oven. He had to dril and create holes and things like that to get all that he needs to get done. I am impressed to watch this builder from Beijing work in creating a new kitchen for me.

I had a good talk with my brother and got to see sister Nutei so briefly on video chat. She looks very weak and has no voice to talk yet. I am thankful to God that she no longer has fever. I had a good video chat with Seni's family too. She too is weaker than yesterday but is on the road to recovery. My heart is filled with gratitude to God for the healing grace given to my loved ones there. I feel helpless as the head of my family. So, I wonder around the house and weeded all the weeds I can pull. I realized that so much of every thing is in full bloom while I was gone for 2 weeks. Looking at them, I feel God's reassurance for a better tomorrow. Peace. Calm. And joy

Psalm 46 today which starts with, " God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble...."

Evening came. Will and I went to meet Piglet and David for dinner at a Mexican place. They have been so very kind. I sill have no kitchen. We left Tony Xie working in the kitchen. He left at 8:30 PM, Nick informed us that via text. Such wonderful people they are. We got home again a bit after 9:00 P M.

We sat and fell asleep on the couch after I checked in with my family on video chat.

God is good. I am grateful.
