Bearfoot Contessa: blessing in disguise

I am at home today because I am sick. I have fever, I sneeze, I blow my nose and I ache all over. I love being home but not being sick. It's very boring when you are sick. I turned TV on and there was Emeril Lagasse cooking Cuban food. It was really entertaining. Then, I was back to being bored. Then Julie C talked to me in a little chat box and then 1954's movie "Bearfoot Contessa" is on. Hearing Humphrey Bogart's voice is a marvelous thing at a time like this. His deep clear calm voice being the narrator of the whole movie is so soothing, not to mention the beautiful sight of Ava Gardner and scenes of Madrid. God is good, honestly - all the time. I am much less bored now, dozing off, falling asleep...... I need to be well soon.
