My second half of the day began.
I got to visit 103 years old lady named Thelma,
hugged and kissed by her.
I prayed for her.
She smiled and make my heart happy.
I felt blessed.
I was blessed by God.
We stopped to eat a quick and delicious dinner at Der Dutchman.
I picked up 4 little pies
Chocolate peanut butter pie
Coconut cream pie
Custard pie and
Keylime pie.
Oh, yes I had a prayer shawl in my car for a few days from the Prayer Shawl knitters group.
Off we went to visit
Grace - her sister had died today
I served the pie to their daughter, their care-giver and my husband.
We talked and laughed while they ate pies.
I gave the prayer shawl to Lee so that he will keep warm duirng dialysis 3 days a week.
I said a prayer.
We hugged. kissed. Said 'I love you" to one another as though they were my own parents.
It was 9:00 PM.
We said goodnight.
Home now with a heart filled with love and gratitude to God.
It has been a lovely day.
Psalm 16:11
You show me the path of life,In yourpresence there is fullness of joy;
In your right hand are pleasures for evermore.
